About the Author

I am Gladys Delgadillo. I graduated with a B.S. in Earth Systems from Stanford University in 2013, and my passion is the conservation of wildlife.

I grew up in the magical town of Escondido, CA where the San Diego Zoo, the now San Diego Zoo Safari Park, Sea World, and plots of land filled with lady bugs and horses were all only a short distance away. My love of animals was instilled in me almost upon my birth and I have always believed that I was born, in part, to help protect the animals that have always meant so much to me.

I am intellectually excited by the politics, policy, and culture surrounding wildlife conservation and am always eager to learn more. As I pursue my goal of making a meaningful difference for wildlife, I'll share my thoughts and work here along the way.
